MY AROMATHERAPY JOURNEY
Back in 2018, essential oils were just appreciated for their scents. The Philippines had a very novice notion of Aromatherapy. This made me decide to take my certification course from New York Institute of Aromatic Studies, which led me to be recognized as one of the premier Certified Aromatherapists in the country. I remain to be a conduit between small scale producers of aromatic products and end users to help uplift the Philippine aromatherapy industry. Currently, I am a Director, the Chair for Media Committee, and the Philippine Country Representative at the Alliance of International Aromatherapists (AIA). AIA is a non-profit professional aromatherapy organization based in Colorado USA that is dedicated to the education of aromatherapists, healthcare professionals, and the public in all aspects of aromatherapy. I am also the Philippine Ambassador for Airmid Institute, a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to the global education, research, and sustainable management of medicinal and aromatic plants (MAPs).
Through the many hats I wear, teaching has always been my passion. To give as to receive, I have conducted various aromatherapy classes, consulted for multiple beauty and Aromatherapy brands, and graced dozens of public speaking engagements to advocate safe and responsible use of essential oil.
I have focused my expertise in the field of Aromatherapy in the areas of:
Animal Aromatherapy Botanical Beauty Formulations Herbalism Natural Perfumery Flower Essences, Hydrosols, and Subtle Aromatherapy French Aromatherapy
Here are some of the recorded Continuing Professional Development (CPD’s) that I was able to accomplish throughout the years, apart from the short courses I have taken across multiple reputable international educational institutions to strengthen my knowledge in this field:
