Care for some sweets for your sweet Mom?

Mother’s day is just around the corner… and what better way to give her a box of sweets (and flowers) on her special day?

Somewhere near the busy streets of Timog, you can find this happy place called Mrs. Graham’s. I have been a patron since their starting days in Best Food Forward food bazaar, where they formally introduced their brand of uniquely flavoured macarons to the market.

A couple of weeks back, I was lucky to be invited by the one of the owners of Mrs. Graham’s, Chris Graham (yes, it’s their real family name, btw), to visit their cafe, try out their new offerings, and be delighted for the rest of the day.

I’ve been to Mrs. Graham’s Cafe countless of times before but it was all for take-away. I never really had the chance to sit down, sip tea as I eat my favourite Tequila Rose macarons, and spend time appreciating all the little quirky details of the cafe.

When Chris (aka Mr. Graham) placed this plate of colourful pastries on the table, I was like Jirbie back in wonderland.

From a brand that initially carried 6 uniquely flavoured macarons, Chris shared with me how he and his wife is so passionate about it that they constantly innovate and offer never-been-heard-of-macaron-flavours like Bibingka with Salted Egg Macarons (my new favourite!) and Peanut Butter & Jelly.

Mrs. Graham’s Cafe also offers cakes, coffee and tea to complement that delightful afternoon experience–all of which carrying that unique Graham-twist like their coffee from a careful blend of Barako beans with hazelnut or macadamia flavour and teas carefully selected from TWG. Mine was this refreshing tea called Choco Mint Truffle.

I’m sure by now you are itching to buy a box or two from Mrs. Graham’s and taste that mouth-watering Bibingka macaron–be it for your mom or yourself. Better yet, bring her to the store this Mother’s Day as Mrs. Graham’s is treating all mothers and expectant mothers a FREE Black Forest Macaron! Yay!
