My Aromatherapy Journey
From personal healing to professional practice – explore the milestones, trainings, and experiences that shaped my path as an aromatherapist.

Back in 2018, essential oils in the Philippines were largely appreciated for their fragrance, with aromatherapy still in its infancy and often misunderstood. Recognizing the need for deeper education and professional standards in the field, I pursued my certification through the New York Institute of Aromatic Studies, a journey that established me as one of the country’s leading Certified Aromatherapists.
Since then, I have remained committed to serving as a bridge between small-scale producers of aromatic products and end users, with the goal of helping elevate and professionalize the Philippine aromatherapy industry.
Today, I serve as the President and Media Committee Chair of the Alliance of International Aromatherapists (AIA), a Colorado-based nonprofit professional organization dedicated to educating aromatherapists, healthcare professionals, and the public in all aspects of aromatherapy. I am also the Philippine Ambassador for Airmid Institute, a nonprofit charitable organization focused on the global education, research, and sustainable stewardship of medicinal and aromatic plants (MAPs).
While I wear many hats in this industry, teaching has always remained at the heart of my work. I firmly believe in the principle of giving as much as receiving, which has led me to conduct numerous aromatherapy classes, consult for various beauty and wellness brands, and participate in dozens of speaking engagements to advocate for the safe, responsible, and evidence-informed use of essential oils.
My areas of specialization within aromatherapy include Filipino Essential Oils, Animal Aromatherapy, Holistic Cancer Care, Botanical Beauty Formulation, Herbalism, Natural Perfumery, Hydrosol Distillation & Its Use, and Subtle Aromatherapy/Energetics.
Below are some of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programs I have completed over the years, in addition to numerous short courses undertaken through respected international educational institutions to continually deepen and expand my expertise in this field.
