New Favorite: Crane Travel Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier

I have been having a difficult time sleeping for the past 2 days that I’d wake up at 2-3am and have a hard time breathing. It may be because of the dry airconditioned air plus the cool rainy weather. And when I don’t get enough sleep at night, I’d normally get migraines the following day.

So I recently decided to buy a humidifier, in the hopes of helping me catch better zzz’s.

I was planning to get the Tear Drop unit from Crane (Php3,499.75 at Baby Company) but my beau convinced me to get the travel sized instead. So I got this portable unit for only Php1,899.75. Luckily for me, it was on 10% off that day.

This nifty little thing runs for 10 hours straight, so it’s enough for the purpose that I intend to use it–at night while I’m sleeping. I love that it has an auto-off function since I’m a bit paranoid of potential fire hazards while I’m sleeping. So basically, when the water is about to run out, or an inch from the bottom of the portable cup, this Crane Travel Humidifier shuts off on its own.

I also love that this unit is so versatile, you can plug it on the wall using the wall socket adapter, or simply in a USB port if you want to keep it beside you while using your laptop in an airconditioned room or you can plug it while inside your car. You can also use a regular glass, but I prefer using the portable cup that originally came with it. 🙂

Was it effective? Well, I have been using this for two nights in a row now and I can say that it helped my breathing instantaneously. Whenever I feel my chest becoming a bit tight, I just fill the portable cup with water and plug the Crane Humidifier in my USB socket. I also noticed that my skin feels less tight at night since I put this humidifier beside my bed.
