So I decided to pull out another coupon and use my Enjoy Philippines Card. This time it’s for Ramen Bar–and we get a B1T1 treat bowls of ramen.
My beau and I decided to get Sapporo Miso Ramen and Shoyu Ramen. What I enjoy at Ramen Bar is that the serving is huge. If you’re on a diet, I’m sure you can split it up with a sister.
Ramen Bar’s Sapporo Miso Ramen is an exciting mix of Chasyu (pork slicse), Nori (seaweed), Tamago (sweetened egg), Naruto (sliced fish cake), butter and corn, served in miso soup base.
Each bowl tastes very oriental but very distinct from each other. I was supposed to get Super Chasyu Ramen but I decided I wanted to try a variety of ingredients instead of just Chasyu (pork slices) so I settled for a bowl of Shoyu Ramen (Soy Sauce Ramen), which contained Tamago (sweetened egg), Chasyu (pork slicse), Nori (seaweed), and Naruto (sliced fish cake).
Finally for dessert, we got their best-seller Tempura Ice Cream. Upon hearing the name, I thought there will be shrimps with the ice cream. It was an interesting name for a dessert. But here’s what it really is:
Sorry, no shrimps here, dolls. It’s basically fried vanilla ice cream with chocolate toppings, syrup, and wafer. I’m just glad the chocolate part is subdued so I was able to enjoy it somehow.
