Christmas came in early this year–I finally got my own Clarisonic Mia 2.
Clarisonic Mia has been around for a while now and it has proven to improve every girl’s skin texture and complexion. Women from all over the world claim to see results even just a week after continuously using it.
Before actually taking the plunge to join the bandwagon, I asked my friend (who has been a Mia 2 user for months now) if Clarisonic’s claims were true and it the product really worked for her. All she said to me was, it reduced her blackheads and lessened her trips to the facial centre–these two simple things are what sold me into having one for myself.
In a nutshell, unlike other spinning devices, Clarisonic’s patented sonic technology works with skin’s natural elasticity, oscillating at a sonic frequency that produces over 300 movements per second. The resulting flexing action works to loosen dirt and oil, removing deep-seated impurities from pores and priming skin to better absorb topical treatments.
As much as I wanted to use it already, my Mia 2 is having its initial charging time of 24 hours right now. But they say after this initial charge, the battery can last for months before you’d have to recharge again.
Each kit comes with the Clarisonic handle, a sensitive brush head (which you have to replace every 3 months), a 1-oz. sample sized cleanser, travel protection case, and the cool magnetic charger.
I will be posting my first impressions article about the Mia 2 after 2 weeks. Stay tuned!
