New Favorite: Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleansing Cloths

I have always been hesitant of using other methods of removing makeup other than washing my face with soap and water. Until I recently found out that my trusted soap-and-water method does not really clean my face 100%–even if it means that I’m already washing my face twice. 🙁

So now I have become more open in trying and testing out methods to effectively clean my face. Today I have tried out Cetaphil’s Gentle Skin Cleansing Cloths. Let’s see if this method works just as good as washing your face with soap and water.

On the left photo, I’m wearing my normal daily makeup, which consists of my everyday foundation, concealer, eyebrow powder, blush and lipstick. While the photo on the right is after removing all the gunk off of my face using Cetaphil’s Cleansing Cloths. So how many wipes did it take to remove it all?

Just 2!

You can see the first sheet removing most of the makeup, including my lipstick. The second sheet is more on to make sure I don’t leave anything behind. So, in a way, just two sheets of Cetaphil’s Cleansing Cloths is equivalent for my two full cycles of typical soap and water wash–how convenient!

But wait, let me test it with my trusty micellar water solution.

There you go, pretty much convinced that Cetaphil’s Gentle Skin Cleansing Cloths effectively does the job.

I’d normally have to use three cotton pads of micellar water solution after cleaning my face with soap and water. But after using two sheets of Cetaphil’s Cleansing Cloths, I’d just have to use two cotton pads to remove all the dirt and gunk off of my face.

Cetaphil’s Gentle Skin Cleansing Cloths (about Php250.00 per 25 pull) is definitely convenient for my travels. Or during nights when I’m coming home late and I’m a bit too lazy to wash my face wish soap and water. Yay!

That’s a pretty tough wipe. For you which is better, that one or the nivea facial wipes? 🙂

I am in the midst of deciding as to which I’ll buy between Nivea Exfoliating Wipes or the Human Nature Cleansing Oil and now I can add the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleansing Cloths to my choices and comparison if which can really cater to my need. Thank you for this review. 🙂

Not bad! I tried the Nivea and I really have to WIPE HARD to get my makeup off. It takes about 2 – 3 wipes (3 being the just-in-case-there’s-makeup-left). Not bad at all 🙂
