Product Review: Stash Pumpkin Spice Decaf Tea

Here’s another overdue tea review. I actually purchased this last month when the weather was still cool in Manila and I thought it would be fitting to bring home a box of pumpkin spiced tea to embrace the comfortable weather with.

Stash Pumpkin Spice Decaf Tea
Created especially for the holidays, this unique tea imparts the appeal of a tasty pumpkin pie. A delicious blend of naturally decaffeinated black teas and natural pumpkin spice flavor with nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger and clove, this tea is comfort in a cup. Enjoy on crisp days and cool nights – the perfect fireside companion. Be sure to add a touch of milk and sugar to complement the luscious flavor. 100% natural ingredients.

Ingredients: Naturally Decaffeinated Black Tea, Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Ginger Root, Pumpkin Spice Flavor, and Clove

I love the full festive flavour of this tea–though it has a much milder taste than my Stash Spice Dragon Red Chai Herbal Tea. I honestly don’t smell or taste the pumpkin-ness of the tea maybe because it has been over-empowered by ginger root and cinnamon. Or maybe because the ingredients blend so well that pumpkin is meant to sink with the other flavours–I don’t know. But I love the blend’s luscious flavor.

A box is Php172.50 from your local grocery stores with 18 teabags in it. I normally use one tea bag to make tea with one 1.2L of water and it still tastes neat.

How about you? Have you found any tea flavour that you like? I would love to hear it!

My everyday staple recently is English Breakfast, although I love me some Earl Grey too. This one sounds really yummy and intriguing! And that’s not a bad price, comes out to less than Php10 per bag. Thanks for the reco, I’ll try this one out!
