On the last day of my short Baguio trip for the long weekend, I stopped by Vizco’s to bring home some of their cakes back to Manila. To be honest, it’s almost a sin to leave Baguio without bringing home some Vizco’s strawberry shortcake.
It’s been 3 years since I have last been to Baguio and I have never heard of Vizco’s until my sister told me to bring home some of their strawberry shortcake because “it’s the best.” I called them up a day before my friends and I were supposed to go back to Manila and made reservations for the cakes that I’m supposed to bring home.
We got at Vizco’s in time for breakfast. Breakfast meal price ranges from Php110.00-Php180.00, which comes with free hot choco, hot tea, coffee, or iced tea and a choice of how you want your eggs done–sunny side up or scrambled.
For the prize, Vizco’s serving size is not that impressive. The breakfast meals are just right–nothing too special, really. But the ambiance of the cafe is very light and friendly. Customer service is great, too. So if you want a chill-out cafe with amazing desserts, for sure, Vizco’s is something you should take time to visit.
Oh, and if you’re planning to bring home some strawberry shortcake back to Manila, it would be wise to call them up for reservations, especially when it’s peak season. <3
