As a post-birthday celebration, my beau and I thought it was perfect to try out Outback Steakhouse while their Anniversary Treat is going on.
Before anything else, we were served with this uniquely colored complimentary bread as a starter.
Basically the promo is you get a free Victoria’s Filet (Php999.00) for every order of Outback’s Signature Prime Rib (Php1,499.00) or Ribeye (Php1,469.00). Each order comes with a choice of two side dishes for the main order and the free Victoria’s Filet.
Among the sidings, Outback’s mashed potatoes were the best. It was served with the perfect dash of pepper.
We also decided to order a Bloke Beer (Php145.00), which is like a 330ml of beer in a ginormous beer mug.
And some signature drinks… guess what I picked?
Yup! Definitely the Cucumber Melon Martini (Php195.00).
As an added treat being my birthday celebration, Outback served this amazing Banana Nut Cake (Php249.00).
This dessert really made my day. I love it when restaurant chains don’t assume that everybody’s into chocolate. Outback’s Banana Nut Cake is basically a banana loaf topped with vanilla icecream and whipped cream, finished with caramel syrup, toffee and a dash of cinnamon powder.
