PhotoDiary: Couchwasabi in Korea (Part 1)

Finally sharing with you the details of my trip in Korea last month. It was my first time to ever go to Korea so I was really excited for all the shopping–albeit being such a short trip. As usual, I have split the post up in parts so you won’t have to load all the photos of my entire trip at once 🙂

Without further ado, let me take you around during my first day in Seoul.

I went to Korea with Chris and the first thing we had to do was ride the subway from Incheon Airport to Seoul and drop our bags in our hotel.

We alighted at the subway station nearest our hotel and took a quick cab ride to K Hotel.

So here’s our hotel.

I have this habit of taking photos of the exchange rate for the day.

And our room was really nice and comfortable.

The bathroom was okay.

They even had branded amenities. In case you didn’t know, Peter Thomas Roth is a brand you can buy from Sephora.

Here’s the mini bar.

And the grand view from our room.

We rested for an hour before we decided not to waste the rest of the day. Since we had a morning flight, we were already in Korea by lunch time, so we actually had the entire afternoon to room around.

So we took the hotel shuttle to drop us off the nearest subway station.

And went ahead with the first order of business: S H O P P I N G!!!

If you’ve been following me on Snapchat, I’m sure you’ve seen my gazillion snaps from the trip.

We went to the department store and I was so happy to see the Clarisonic kiosk since I was planning to buy brush heads during my trip.

Then Chris and I walked around Shinsegae to find more things to shop for.

Some tourist-y shots…

We took a stop in a convenience store to grab a quick bite. I was so happy with this melon yakult drink. LoL.

Finally, I think just before the mall closed, we found Lush and I hoarded some bath bombs and whatnot.

So here’s my first day in Korea, I basically did some shopping already since THERE’S NO TIME TO WASTE! Next post will be about my trip in Suwon, which used to be Korea’s capital city for a period of time.

Anyway I hope you enjoyed this post and see you on my Part 2!
