July 29 is International Lipstick Day and what way to better celebrate this every girl’s beauty staple than to enjoy 50% off from your favorite lipstick brands in SM Beauty? Yup! Last Friday, I was able to attend SM Beauty’s Lipstick Fest for the first time despite the horrendous payday Friday traffic.
I arrived in SM Makati at around 2pm and quickly spotted Andy–pretty much hung out with her the whole time. Hehe.
Each participating brand would have their own lipstick activity that you can join. Once accomplished, you get freebies and a stamp added to your beauty passport.
Some activities are easy-peasy like taking swatches of the product of taking selfies with the product then posting it on your IG.
Some would require you to guess the shade of the lipstick and if guessed correctly, you get to win a freebie.
My favorite was VMV’s. No sweat, no fuss, just draw from the bowl and instantly win a prize. I was lucky to win their lipstick while Andy got a face powder.
I guess the most challenging was Sleek Makeup’s wherein you have to mix lipstick shades and be creative about it.
