Pick of the Month: Becca x Jaclyn Hill Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop

I know I’m late for the highlighter party but I’m sure a lot of you have been oggling over Becca x Jaclyn Hill’s Champagne Pop. I mean, it has become quite the buzzword last year when it was first released. In fact, in the first 20 minutes it was on sale, the online retailer sephora.com sold a record-breaking 25,000 compacts, which was then a limited-edition color. Because of the huge demand and success, Becca decided for it to become a mainstay.

Now today, let me share with you what the hype on this beautiful highlighter is all about.

This specific shade, the Champagne Pop, is so magical that it achieves what used to be impossible for highlighters: a single shade that looks great on every skin tone. Unlike most highlighters that came before the Champagne Pop, which was mostly white for fair skinned or golden for darker skinned, this famous rose gold highlighter has a peach undertone that is so universally flattering.

It’s so pigmented with one swipe off the pan. Ugh. GOR-GE-OUS.

Look at that beautiful fine glow when applied on my skin!  You can spot it on the tip of my nose, the high points of my cheeks, my brow bone and a splash on the inner corners of my eyes.

You can definitely build it up if you want an ‘in-your-face’ highlight, but I like this diffused natural glow effect. I love pairing this with my Hourglass Ambient Lighting blush for that seamless glow through my cheeks.
