After my Kerasilk Brazilian Blowout from Cynos a couple of weeks back, I have been using nothing but sulfate-free Kerasilk Daily Keratin Shampoo and Conditioner on my hair.
Just a quick background, the brand Cynos originally came from Korea and is considered a premium quality haircare brand. One of their latest offerings, Kerasilk or the permanent blowdry treatment, is a revolutionary hair and volume reducing treatment that lessens kinky and frizzy hair textures, leaving hair naturally straight, healthy and shiny. This innovative hair treatment enables you to skip salon bow-dry and be able to simply wash/wear your hair for 3-4 months.
To prolong the effects of Kerasilk, a post maintenance care for shampoo & conditioner is a needed, which is aptly called Step 3 and Step 4.
Kerasilk Step 3 Daily Shampoo is a non-sodium chloride formulation that cleanses and repair processed hair. It guarantees to maintain the perfect smoothness and long-lasting keratin treatment effect on our hair. In fact, Kerasilk Step 3 is the only shampoo that I use on my hair. I love that it doesn’t strip off my hair’s moisture as it effectively rids of impurities. I also love that this brand smells like those salon-type shampoo, if you know what I mean. It smells crisp, clean, and somewhat fruity. Nothing beats when your hair smells like you just stepped out of a salon.
Kerasilk Step 4 Daily Conditioner delivers superior conditioning and prismatic shine using its formulated moisture replenishing system that infuses rich nutrition to every hair shaft. This conditioner gives me the natural bounce and softness that my hair currently has. When used daily, Kerasilk Step 3 and 4 lets you achieve that long-lasting soft and manageable hair that can stretch up to 4-5 months.
