A girl can never have too many makeup and my vanity table can never have too much makeup brands. With this finely-milled loose mineral quality, I certainly wouldn’t mind adding Gorgeous Cosmetics to my growing collection of mineral makeup.
Gorgeous Cosmetics is a young Australian cosmetic brand that flourished out of passion, loyalty and the pursuit for elite quality. The brainchild of award-winning Makeup Artist David McConnell, Gorgeous Cosmetics is Australia’s premium colour cosmetics currently being sold in Australia and United States.
Now made available in the Philippines by Orangebox Corporation, Gorgeous Cosmetics’ Shimmer Dust is one of my favorite this season. Luckily, I was able to try out their Shimmer Dust in Ms. Vegas. What I love about this product is that it’s very flexible and easy to work with. You can either use it in wet or dry application. Doing the wet method gives it more vibrancy and a liquidy metallic shine.
Gorgeous Cosmetics Shimmer Dust creates a vast range of finishes including pearlescent, sheen, and my favorite metallic. Ms. Vegas is an earthy green-toned metallic shimmer dust, which I find perfect for a glamourized rainy day look. Here’s a closer look on the pigment when applied with a setting spray.
Application is very easy with my favorite wet synthetic eyeshadow brush. Remember to pat the pigments down and pack it on your lids versus the usual window wiper application method. I added some matte shadow to create a nice daytime smokey look.
