Product Review: iBattz BattStation Optimus 20400mah Portable Charger

Just when I was thinking of getting myself a new higher capacity powerbank, Digits Trading sent me this amazing iBattz BattStation Optimus 20400mah powerbank for review. I swear, my friends back in Digits Trading office can read minds.

Since I’ve been carrying too much gadgets around everyday–e.g. a tablet, my two phones, and my two pocket wifis, having an 8800mah powerbank doesn’t do much for me. Good thing this iBattz BattStation Optimus has a generous amount of power to keep my electronics running throughout the day.

This iBattz BattStation Optimus Portable Charger packs a 20400mah high-capacity battery, the same Panasonic cell that powers electric cars, providing eight full smartphone charges in its compact shell. It features a 2.1A and 1A USB port, which allows for the simultaneous charging of two devices and features an emergency LED flashlight. Although charging time can be quite long at 14-15 hours to fill this high-capacity powerbank, for me this is a minimal trade-off for you to be able to carry much power around. I haven’t drained my iBatts BattStation Optimus since first fully charging it, but so far I have fully charged a Sony Xperia Z Ultra phone twice and its LED indicator still has 3 bars. So I guess so far so good. Oh, and it shuts off automatically when nothing is charging.
