Unboxing: PMD (Personal Microderm)

I have come across PMD through other international beauty bloggers and I have always been interested to try out all these amazing at-home beauty gadgets that you can use. So when the folks from PMD mailed me to say they were interested to let me try their product, I was seriously over the moon.

PMD is basically a home micro-dermabrasion kit that uses aluminum oxide crystal tips to slough off the top-most layer of your skin, revealing healthier younger looking skin. By doing so, PMD also helps your skin absorb all the skincare products that you put more effectively.

Inside the box, you’ll find the PMD tool itself, the tips, adapter, warranty papers, the training guide & CD, and a complimentary sachet of PMD’s basic skincare line. Before doing anything to your skin, you have to make sure to watch the CD at least 2 times to fully understand how PMD works.

After watching the video, I tried using my PMD on my arm, using the white training disc. After which, I also tried some runs on my face.

If you feel you are ready to advance to a more abrasive disc, the package comes with two sets of blue sensitive disc and one set of green medium disc. I plan to use the blue sensitive disc next week, during my second session. There are also other discs available which you can buy separately.

It is important to note that you can not pass through one area more than twice. Also, be careful of overdoing the micro-dermabrasion on your skin. Ideally, you can do this only once a week.

I am particularly interested in clearing up the blackheads on my nose with PMD. Also to make the pores look smaller. I will be doing a more in-depth review in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for that. ๐Ÿ™‚

How long till you’ve received your set? I still haven’t and the tracking says it’s here in Manila (dec. 8). It’s already dec 15.. Still no Pmd..

Hello, there’s some sort of delay in the shipments currently since it’s peak season/holiday. This is true for most of the courier services here in Manila. You can get in touch with PMD to follow up.

Ok thanks for reassurance as I’m losing hope.. I have this feeling that it might be stolen or lost.. I did send an email/follow-up to Pmd 2 days ago but no response ๐Ÿ™ the last tracking says its has departed manila, Philippines and on the way to destination (dec 8)

I called the customer service of philpost and the lady said it must be on its way to them (pasay-not sure what their office is but it seems to be the drop location for all international parcels and what not) but it has been more than a week..

If it’s in postal office, they would have sent me a notice to claim but I didn’t receive any notification either huhuhu

I actually bought something on eBay a week after I bought the pmd and that parcel have been deliver. I’ve received it 3 days ago.. That’s why I’m worried with the shipment of pmd

Yes thanks for reassuring :)) got my PMD today at philpost hehe all I needed to do is pay 100 pesos .. I thought I’d be charged with customs tax.

For those who are in the similar situation, wait for about a month and while waiting you may want to keep calling philpost.. They Hav numbers on their website.. Mostly they’re reliable since they base their responses from experience of handling different calls, training and they’re using another tool to track those packages that went through customs
