Product Review: BYS Lip Colour Stick in Thistle Do

I love collecting lip crayons. I prefer them over lipsticks since they come in a much smaller gram–1.5g vs 4g–I get to switch up lip colors easily without guilt.

But what makes a good lip crayon great is when the color comes out vivid in one stroke–and this is exactly what makes BYS Lip Colour Stick my favorite.

For knockout lips the BYS Lip Colour Stick is your new best friend. It guarantees a pout with serious punch! We’ve created a high pigment formula that ensures a luxurious creamy texture that just glides onto the lip giving an instant colour hit.

The easy to hold, pencil shaped packaging gives you greater control than conventional lipsticks, making application both easy and precise. The best part? It never needs sharpening – simply swivel up to reveal more of the balm. It can be used as a two-in-one defining pencil stick – either as a liner or lipstick in one!

At first glance, Thistle Do might come off a little too purplish, giving me an impression that this shade is too flashy for daily wear. But upon swatching, Thistle Do is actually a cool  Barbie-pink shade that can perk up any dull day.

If you love matte lipsticks but hate its tricky lip-drying effect, BYS Lip Colour Stick is something you should check out. One cool thing to note about BYS Lip Colour Stick is that they come off as matte but they don’t give your lips that dry, aged look.

However, what impressed me most about BYS Lip Colour Stick is how buttery smooth it felt on my lips–without sacrificing color pay-off. I love the hydrating creamy texture of this lip crayon yet, unlike most moisturizing lipsticks I have used, this one actually gives you that vibrant lip color in just one stoke.

Now I’m really interested in trying out their lip paints. In the meantime, do check out BYS Facebook and Twitter for updates and latest promos.

I’ve never tried a BYS product but I’ve hear a lot of good reviews about it. Maybe I must start with their lip crayons. 🙂 What I love about lip crayons is that they have longer packaging which makes it easier for me to apply lipstick.
