2014 Beauty Round Up

It’s that time of the year when I look back and think of the best things that has happened to me in the past year. I love trying out stuff and being a beauty blogger keeps me abreast with the latest and most innovative things in beauty. Having said that, here are some of my beauty discoveries in 2014 that has changed or improved my beauty routine.

BEST BEAUTY GADGET

Last year was all about my Clarisonic Mia 2. This year, my heart goes all out to my amazing PMD wand. I love how it gently removes dead skin cells away from my skin to reveal younger-looking new skin. I have used this diligently every week since I got it and I love how it makes my skin look softer.

If you’re interested to get yourself one, you can use my promo code COUCHWASABI25 to get 25% off of your purchase through http://www.personalmicroderm.com/ until Jan 1, 2015.

BEST WONDER MASCARA

I love how Get Lei’d 3D Mascara lengthens and thickens my lashes like magic. Born with Asian features, my lashes are seriously itty bitty and I have struggled to have presence more prominent since forever.

With Get Lei’d 3D Mascara, the natural green tea fibers adds volume to your natural lash and seals it in for 8 hours. If you’re not into applying false lashes nor getting lash extensions like me, then you’ve got to try this!

BEST HAIR REPAIR PRODUCT

Never had an everyday-great-hair-day before CYNOS started taking care of my tresses. One of my favorites–among all their amazing hair products–is their SilverTree Moroccan Argan Oil Hair Serum. This has kept my hair in its best shape even if I had my hair coloured and treated numerous times this year. It has almost made my hair invincible!

Another good story to share about this product is when my mom had a horrible hair situation after having her hair rebonded and damaged, I had her use this serum to help bring her hair back to life. This SilverTree Moroccan Argan Oil and CYNOS Moisture Plus Spray are the only products that tamed the poofiness of her damaged hair and made it look healthy back again.

BEST BEAUTY DECISION–EVER!

Browhaus’ Brow Resurrection is–hands down–the most memorable beauty makeover that has happened to me this 2014. If you’re someone who has dealt with barely-there brows since birth and are too intimidated to go for a permanent brow tattoo, Brow Resurrection is your best choice. This procedure gives you natural semi-permanent 3D lifelike brows that uses vegetable pigment (so it’s safe) to last for 2 years.

After Brow Resurrection, I never had to worry of straying brows when I go for a swim or when I’m having some drinks–you see, my face turns beet red when I drink and it washes away my brows! Scary!

So here are my best beauty discoveries in 2014. I hope you enjoyed this post as we look forward to more beauty discoveries in 2015!

Cheers! <3

My favorite discovery of 2014 is really basic but I didn’t know it back then, it’s putting on lip cream or heavy lip balm before sleeping! It keeps my lips soft and hydrated even until the next day. SWEAR! I use The Face Shop I’m Shea Butter Lip Care Cream. Since I started, I’ve used it every night!
