First Impression: Maybelline White SuperFresh UV Cake Powder SPF34

I’m not really into face powders as I normally skip this in my daily routine. But what piqued my interest in trying this product is the demo I saw during launch when bloggers were dared to spray water onto this powder and the liquid was instantly absorbed!

Of course I had to try it for myself the moment I laid my hands on these. >,<

Introducing our “Clean-touch Powder System”. Enriched with Mineral Perlite that is 5x the absorption power of regular talc, it facilitates sweat evaporation with almost zero build-up. Works like a blotter that continuously blots away sweat and sebum so that color stays true during the wear, complexion remains bright-looking. 12 hour fair matte look and fresh feel. Long lasting matte  coverage that instantly whitens and evens skin tone, smooths and blends away imperfections. Non comedogenic and gentle on skin.

Basically Maybelline White SuperFresh promises an all-day no touch-up protection with SPF34. Not bad for a slim compact that seems to do it all. The perlite technology is what puts everything in place as it keeps oil at bay. I will be trying this out as an experiment by covering half of my face with this powder and leaving the other bare, just to see how it fares.

In the mean time, you can check out Maybelline White SuperFresh in the stores for only Php299.00. Available in 4 shades.

I’m really interested in this! My current go to powder is the Pixy Ultimate Makeup Cake and I just ran out of it 😀 Thinking of getting this or another Pixy refill 🙂

How’s your pixy powder? I liked this Maybelline because it’s true to its claims 🙂

Super good! It’s has medium coverage and controls oil well. The powder is really fine too but the sad part is that if layered too much, it can cake.

I like this one because it provides a light finish. Not so much on the coverage though, but for me who doesn’t like too much layer, the coverage is enough. It’s more affordable too than L’oreal. I just don’t like that they only have 4 shades. :/
