Top 5 Thursdays: Travel Makeup Must-Have

I may not know how to pack light with my luggage, I sure know how to pack light with makeup.

In my recent trip to Bangkok, here are the 5 makeup pieces that I brought with me during the entire trip–aside from my trusty tube of Neutrogena SPF110, of course.

1) CoverGirl Olay Depuffer Eye Concealer

I need a pocket-friendly concealer that can help my eye look alive and awake during my travel. CoverGirl’s lightweight coverage is perfect in brightening my eye area without looking overdone or cakey.

2) K-Palette Real Lasting Eyeliner

My normal toned-down makeup look would always have my winged liner in place. I feel it helps define my chinita eyes and make it look bigger. I love K-Palette’s jet-black eyeliner as it stays put the whole day without me worrying if I have to check my eyes and do retouch.

3) Etude House Play 101 Eye Pencil

As I wing my upper eyeliner, I normally sweep nude liner in my lower waterline to make my eyes look bigger. I love Etude House Play 101 Pencil #10 since it comes in the perfect nude shade that matches my skintone.

4) Very YSL Pink Travel Palette

This is my go-to palette since it comes with a bright pink and a darker pink lipstick in it. It has four eyeshadows in it that I can use if I decide I needed more color in my peepers.

5) Gorgeous Cosmetics Cream Blush

For a more au naturel look, I go for cream blushes. I love Gorgeous Cosmetics Cream Blush as I can pop a healthy flush on my cheeks in just one sweep–and the color lasts the whole day!

Most of the bloggers really adore that K-Palette brand. It’s just too bad cause I didn’t get to have the chance to take home one of those during another bloggers’ event. I was hoping to use it for my cosplays sana.. hehehe… anyway the top must have product for me this summer, is of course sunscreen for I’m frequently outside and is a sports addict. I actually love Shiseido’s Sun Protector. hihihi.. Another is a good oil-free tinted moisturizer like that of Laura Mercier’s. I also have a freaking oily skin so I always have Make Up For Ever’s Mattifying Skin Equalizer. They’re definitely one of the best buys that promises the truth and you really and definitely get your money’s worth. If I do cosplays, I need good eyeliners that would last me the longest time..really..so for that I really love Benefit’s They’re Real Push-up Liner or if you’re into a budget but definitely out for quality, Clio’s Gelpresso Eyeliner’s way too good too! For the lips, I have my burt’s bees tinted lip balm or nivea’s strawberry balm cause I don’t really use a lot of lipsticks but I always have Clio Lipnicure with me for cosplays. (^…^) Lastly, my holy grail product is the Make Up For Ever’s HD Powder. If you guys know it, the rest is history. (^…..^) Happy Summer po!
