Le Petit Souffle in Century City Mall

The only thing better than dining in a Japanese resto is a French-Japanese fusion resto. There you go. The moment my eyes laid on the words Le Petit Souffle, I knew I had to try their offering.

I was eyeing for their Foie Gras Mac N’ Cheese when I scanned through their menu but later decided on having their Squid Ink Rice instead. I was out looking for something new to try and I thought Mac ‘N Cheese with some Foie Gras won’t just cut it, you know?

Glad I ordered their Squid Ink Rice (Php395.00) as it was really down-to-the-last-grain-delicious. It was a bowl of seafood medley: with shrimp, scallop, mussels, squid, mushrooms, and-can you believe it–salmon roe! Wee!

Their pasta did not disappoint as well. Normally, I won’t go dare order a tomato-based pasta since I hate the taste of process tomatoes. Luckily, Le Petit Souffle’s Chicken Pomodoro’s sauce (Php250.00) is made from fresh tomatoes. So, yay for that.

Le Petit Souffle also had interesting concoction of drinks. One of which is their wild berries with mint and celery iced tea (Php395.00). I love the fresh fruits and veggies that were thrown in the regular flavoured tea. Plus, I super love celeries–never knew you could throw them in drinks.

For dessert I ordered their Salted Egg Caramel Parfait (Php195.00). I would’ve loved ordering all of their parfait since they all looked interesting. But I picked this over Strawberry-Lychee and Matcha since the salted egg custard piqued my interest.

Le Petit Souffle is still a work in progress since it’s still in its soft opening. But the menu is really interesting and the service is great. If you want to try a relatively affordable French cuisine, I say Le Petit Souffle in Century City Mall is worth your trip.

I don’t know where Century Mall is. Haha. But I agree with you that the food is worth it. I also love the food presentation. The dishes are affordable too! The parfait looks yummy, with just the right amount of sweetness. Everything you ordered look so delicious.
