I love having my car cleaned a Dallas, and while having it cleaned and all buffed up, I’d normally kill time and dine at Big Bowl Noodles along Tomas Morato. During my recent car wash, while on the way to Big Bowl, my beau and I were stopped by Quim’s staff to hand us a flyer. The cakes were good enough for me to stop and check what’s inside.
Quim’s had a few selection of cakes for the day but whatevs. Chris and I plopped in the seats and ordered away.
For starters, their Quesadillas had a unique Oriental spin as it does away with theΒ quintessential Mexican spice cumin.
Quim’s had a promo wherein if you order their main entree and put it up on Instagram, you get to enjoy a free slice of cake an a glass of red iced tea so we were happy to oblige…
Anyway, so we ordered baby back ribs, which was absolutely delish–I super love the bbq sauce, btw.
I picked a slice of carrot cake since I don’t really eat chocolate.
Their carrot cake wass moist and yummy. I wanted to have some more but I guess I’ll save it for next time :p
Quim’s also sells baking goods like nuts, juice concentrates, and other native pasalubong items.
If you’re into baking, I heard that Quim’s conducts baking classes on their second floor. So you may want to look into that if you’re looking for something productive to do this summer. π
