A couple of my fellow bloggers and myself were invited to attend Amado Group of Companies’ Christmas Party at Yoree Korean BBQ, which is also the company’s latest venture.
Not a stranger to Korean BBQ or samgyupsal, I was excited to try out the latest Korean BBQ resto in town.
Like an authentic Korean restaurant, it all starts off with appetizers.
Steamed egg was served as we waited for the server to cook our meat.
Just as in traditional samgyupsal fashion, the meat are wrapped into sesame leaves, romaine leaves, or lettuce before you pop it in your mouth. I like my meat dipped in sesame oil with bamboo salt better, though.
Obviously, everyone was enjoying their meal as we get our hands (and mouths) full with these amazing Korean dishes.
As gracious as our host can be, I love it when Andrea–the President of AGC–exclaimed, “a party is never complete without alcohol!” Then these lemonade soju were served at our tables.
Sorry but I already had a couple of shots here so I was beet red in this photo. -_-
Anyway, more yummy Korean dishes were served like this amazing soup and bibimbap.
The Korean pancake was a little too spicy for me though.
I had to tone down the spiciness with my yummy watermelon shake. However, my favorite that night was the Korean Halohalo. I loved the mango and red bean topping. Plus, the ice is shaven fine as snow.
For those of you who do not know, AGC is the company behind our local Etude House, Tony Moly, and Tous Les Jours. So during the party, products were raffled off and tokens were given to the attendees.
Here’s Aencille, Shen, myself, Earth, Erika, Marj, Andrea, and Kath.
Thank you so much Andrea and everyone behind AGC. You know I love you guys. xx
