Clarisonic Mia 2 First Impressions

Happy New Year, dolls!

So, I have been using my Clarisonic Mia 2 for 2 weeks now and here’s my “first impressions” review. I don’t think it is enough to put a concluding blog about it yet. So, I will be doing another update in about a month. 😉

First off, I think it’s a little late for me to join the love wagon, since I’m sure you’ve heard so many good things about the Mia from other bloggers already. But I just want to say that Clarisonic really works.

Let me warn you, don’t expect miracles, though. And always be mindful that every product may react differently to every person. I have read some reviews that Mia did not work for them. This is a USD150.00 beauty tool that you would really have to think about when buying.

Luckily, I am very much happy with mine. Honestly, even during the first day of using it, I felt my skin became firmer after the wash. After one week of using it diligently, I noticed my skin is glowing and smoother.

Even Pepper wants to try the Mia

I use my Mia once a day, with the 2nd speed and a sensitive brush, since I don’t really have much skin problems and I rarely get pimples. I purchased the Mia for its deep cleaning benefits. Plus, I’m really eyeing on reducing my whiteheads.

I’m glad that so far, I have noticed that my nose has improved–the pores are smaller and my whiteheads are easily removed. My skin is more even and it’s really smooth and glowing.

I’m not sure if I have already undergone the “skin purging” stage. Although, during the first few days I noticed that I had few little bumps on my face. I realized maybe this is my skin’s way of reacting to the Mia. I haven’t had a major breakout session with it, luckily. But during the first week, I noticed that my skin became oilier than usual.

While Mia 2 is sold at USD150.00 in America, I was able to find a local seller for only Php6,000. Not bad, right?

If you’re going to ask me as to whether the Mia is worth all the hype, my answer is: Yes, because this thing works. And maybe for some people, it has changed their skin care routine entirely. Are the benefits worth it? Yes. For me, I like what it has done to my skin so far. I’m one of the lucky ones who did not experience much fuss during the “skin purging” stage. My little bumps were nothing a topical hydrocortisone cream can handle.

Stay tuned for my next installment about the Mia.
