CW Fall 2013 Beauty Must-Haves

Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant
My skin has been on a hiatus lately–it has been really dry and flaky since the weather’s getting colder. You might be thinking it’s crazy to use an exfoliant on an already flaking skin. But with a good and proper exfoliant, you can get those flakes off without any hang-ups. This is what Paula’s Choice 2% BHA Exfoliant did to my skin. It helped remove all my dry patches in just one week of applying nightly.

Yves Rocher Sebo Specific Zero Defect Anti-Imperfection Concentrate Moisturiser
For a time when I was having an allergic reaction on my face leaving it dry and bumpy, I didn’t use any other moisturizer except for Yves Rocher Anti-Imperfection Moisturizer. Since it has a light formulation, I don’t have to suffer from oily face throughout the day. Also, since I am confined in an airconditioned office most of the day, my skin has suffered from too much airconditioning leaving it dull and patchy. This moisturizer helped regain my skin’s balance back to soft and youthful skin.

Aveeno SPF 100 Continuous Protection Sunblock Lotion
When you are using an exfoliant, it makes your skin light-sensitive. Say NO to sun spots! I use Aveeno’s SPF 100 Facial Sunblock to protect my face from harmful UVA/UVB rays and shun away premature wrinkles and early signs of aging.

Colour Collection Vitamin E Lipstick in Red Wine
This is one of my favorites this season. I love the vampire-red color of Colour Collection’s Vitamin E lipstick. What’s great about it is that I don’t have to prep my lips with another product since the formulation is moisturizing enough to standalone.

Made by David Organics Dry Shampoo
I have a confession: cool weather makes me lazy to hit the shower. Haha! In times when I don’t feel like having to wash my hair, Made by David Organics’ Dry Shampoo serves as a quick solution to add oomph to my hair. With a couple sprinkle of this product on my head, I feel like I just came out fresh from the shower with its aromatic citrus-y vanilla scent.

Olay Body Wash Body Butter Ribbons
I have always loved Olay body wash. I switch from one variant to the other, but one thing’s consistent: It’s super moisturizing–perfect for this season’s skin-drying wrath. Olay Body Wash Body Butter Ribbons has jojoba oil that improves your dry, dull skin in just 5 days.

Herbal Essences Drama Clean Shampoo
And when I do wash my hair, Herbal Essences Drama Clean Shampoo is my current go-to product. It keeps my hair clean but it doesn’t dry it out. It’s a gently clarifying shampoo and I super love the citrus-y scent!

How about you? What are your top beauty picks this season?
