Jergens 7-day Challenge : Mission #5

MISSION #5 : A HEALTHY DIET IS NEEDED TO KEEP YOUR BODY STRONG AND YOUR SKIN BEAUTIFUL

Share with us a family recipe using ingredients that are good for the skin.

Good thing my baon today is curry rice. Did you know that turmeric, the ingredient found in curry, speeds up wound healing and assists in remodeling of damaged skin? I cannot think of any other family recipe that is more apt than this. Below are the benefits of turmeric for your skin:

  • Turmeric is also a great anti-oxidant that helps fend off free-radicals, which age your skin prematurely.
  • Turmeric will help normalize uneven skin tone. Many people say that they were able to stop wearing foundation after using turmeric on their skin.
  • Some people even have used turmeric as an all-natural self tanner. We stress that there are very few skin tones that will match turmeric perfectly. Read on for more info on this.

This powerful antioxidant, plus Jergens, will surely condition your skin into its tiptop shape. How about you? Any other home recipes that you take for better skin? Share it with me through comments, I’d love to know! xx

Hmm, I don’t know a lot of recipes, I just know the usual. But what I love is the sinigang na baboy in guava. Guava is known to cure wounds as well (if that’s right. haha). Basta, I know that guava is beneficial to us. 🙂 I also love eating tomatoes! Good for the skin
