Kos Greek Ouzeri at UP Town Center

Last week, my beau and I were trying to look for something new to try. So from Fort, we went all the way to UP Town, not minding the holiday traffic on a Friday night.

I was looking for somewhere quiet to have our dinner so we can catch up as I have been so busy with work that I barely even have time for myself. So when we were strolling around UP Town and saw that Kos Greek Ouzeri had enough peace and quietness that I was looking for, we didn’t even think twice that it was the place perfect for our Fridate.

So this is my happy face on a Friday night.

I don’t really know what to get as I have only eaten in Cyma I think once or twice. I was tired of getting gyros (skewers) from Mediterranean/Greek restaurants so after much deliberation, we finally ordered grilled lamp chops with yogurt sauce (Php420.00) and their best-selling Spanakorizo spinach rice (Php120.00).

A complimentary basket of bread is included. I thought the dishes we ordered blended well together. In fact, I ate most of the spinach rice though I hate eating rice–I swear, it was that good.

I love that the lamb chops didn’t have that annoying after-taste. It was cooked tender and flavourful, which matched perfectly with Spanakorizo. The grilled veggie sidings were thrown in into perfection, too.

Wow, it looks good ha. I’ve never tried any Greek food pa as of the moment. But Cyma is already included in our list of restaurants to try. 🙂 The presentation is good as well. I so miss UP. UP town center was still under construction when I graduated so I haven’t tried going there pa. We’re planning to schedule a date near there so as to linger around. I miss my college years

another resto/food to try and the price for the rice and lamp chop is just pretty well priced.. i havent tried eating lamb meat, but my father who formerly works as OFFW to saudi arabia told us that lamb meat and turkey meat were the ordinary meat you can eat there.. they dont eat pork meat because of their religion..
