Wedding bells are ringing at our house as my sisters are starting to get married one by one. This is quite a funny story actually as it dawned late on me that it is my obligation, as the maid of honor, to throw a bachelorette party for my baby sister who’s getting married this month.
It was a grand plan of sneakiness with the groom and my sister’s highschool bestfriend. I was really panicking as I have never attended any bachelorette party and I only had a week to plan everything.
I got to the venue an hour before everybody else came to prepare and set it up. Ms. L.A., the owner of Elle, was a big help as she did 90% of the set up. I only had to bring the food and put props here and there for the games but all the pretty wedding designs you see on the photo, that’s all on her. <3
A little past 7pm, my sister arrived with her bestfriend thinking she is about to meet another common friend–et voila–it was her surprise bridal shower after all!
The girls started with their mani-pedi service as I rolled out the games for the night one by one. We had ‘Who has the groom?’, ‘What’s in your purse?’, ‘Who knows the bride best?’, and ‘Recipes of a good marriage.’
It was a truly fun night and almost everyone took home a little somethin’ something from the games. But my favorite part of the night was the gift-opening. My sister was so game to flaunt all the gifts. Even Elle’s store manager said her shower was one of the most fun sparties they’ve ever had.
I’m sure everybody had a fun and relaxing night at Elle’s. Thank you so much Elle Nail Studio for all the help. It wouldn’t have been a perfect bridal sparty if it weren’t for all your assistance and excellent customer service. I had so many last minute changes but you guys are the best! 😉
