Pick of the Month: Chanel Rouge Allure Gloss in 14 Innocent

I love liquid lipsticks and tinted glosses. And if you’re going to give me a product that is a cross between the two, there’s no reason I wouldn’t want to have it in my makeup kit.

ROUGE ALLURE GLOSS

COLOUR AND SHINE LIPGLOSS IN ONE CLICK

The colour intensity of a lipstick. The lacquered shine of a lipgloss. In one seductive click, ROUGE ALLURE GLOSS delivers dramatic, long-wearing coverage with hydrating comfort. Add to the allure with complementary shades of ROUGE ALLURE Luminous Intense Lip Colour and LE VERNIS Nail Colour.

But with the usual liquid lipsticks that I have tried, it’s either they are too drying for my lips (like the velvet ones) or are too jelly-ish (like Maybelline) that the color goes all over the place.

In one stroke you can see that it shows a vivid color of a lipstick without losing the intense shine of a gloss. Chanel Rouge Allure Gloss contains a high concentration of finely ground pigments and glass microbeads for that exceptional color and shine. Lastly, it is infused with green tea butter and vitamin E to effectively lock in moisture on your lips.

Chanel Rouge Allure Gloss has a special sculpted applicator that does the job really well. It gives an ease of application that doesn’t need of a go over with your lipbrush. The intensity of the color is seen on your lips in just one to two coats. It’s super hydrating. Plus, it gives your lips a kissable-looking plump.

It looks pretty but it looks sticky to me. :/ I haven’t tried any Chanel products before so I hope I can try one soon. 🙂 The packaging looks pretty though
