Product Review: L’Oreal Mat Magique All-In-One Powder

I’m sure you’ve heard of L’Oreal’s latest offering–their new Mat Magique All-In-One Powder that promises to keep oil at bay for 12 hours. For us living in the Philippines, this might be the answer in the coming summer months.

At Php499.00, this compact looks pretty perfect inside my purse. I love the metallic pink packaging and I actually find the clear base aesthetically nice. It’s a slim compact so it can fit in your purse without taking too much space.

The formulation is smooth, though I’m not sure of the coverage. I don’t really layer face products so just one sweep is enough for me. I just want this for its oil control properties.

L’Oreal Mat Magique All-In-One Powder boasts its new key ingredient perlite, which is a volcanic mineral that is effective in absorbing oil. It has SPF34, which is higher than most face powder in the market.

I tried using this on my T-zone since I have combination skin. Although I can not vouch for the 12H claim, I like that this product does not settle in the pores of my nose like most powders do. I think this is perfect for oily to combination skin as it blends well on my T-zone.

    they said it was pink but it looks like purple/violet to me (my favorite color!) are they already out in the market ms jirbie? because i read a lot of great review about this one! i love mattes! — in any form — lipstick, e/s, foundation and now this powder!

    im excited to see this on your list when you did another LOTDs!

    im a mom-in-budget and this one still fits in (Php500 below for a compact powder) and everything is on it! it last 12H w/o retouch, it is matte, and the packaging is love! how can i could ask for more?

    another last question ms jirbie? does it have any scent? (powdery or floral scent?)

      Hi! Yup you can get it from Watson’s. But I checked Landmark Trinoma and it’s not there.

    Bongga ng product launching nitong L’Oreal Matte Magique which is really convincing! Pero my new product din ang Maybelline Stay Fresh. They are kind of the same. I just want to request for your beauty battle on these two new pressed powders. <3

    There are a ot of good reviews nga about this product and it surely is amazing. Would definitely get one for myself as well. I super love the packaging as well! It looks like a tangle brush. haha. anyway, I also love that the mirror is large enough for the face

    I heard of this last year when it was released in Singapore, so I immediately tried to find it in the PH. This year lang pala ang release. Eyeing this one!
