Product Review: NYX Powder Blush in Peach PB06

I was looking for a cheap blush on to play with and I found this NYX Powder Blush during one of my impulse shopping spree.

Our pressed powder blush delivers sheer, silky color that glides on easily, blends beautifully and creates a natural glow. The formula is richly-pigmented and lasts for hours.

I got this from a bazaar and there weren’t much shades to choose from at that time. I picked up this bright bubblegum pink since I thought this would perfectly go well in one of those Barbie-days.

Yes, this brand in made in China so for the price, I cannot complain. When you check the ingredients list, you can see mica and talc in it. Since I’m not really sensitive to these ingredients, I don’t mind. But, to my point, NYX is not a premium brand so you better manage your expectations.

What I love about this blush, however, is that it has a matte finish. I’m tired of wearing blushes with shimmers and glitters in it. Especially during summer, I don’t want to look dewy when it’s not necessary.

NYX powder blush in Peach PB06 is a subdued Barbie-pink shade that goes on sheer–but is definitely buildable. If you are looking for a real peach-toned blush from NYX, better pick the shade Summer Peach.

As regards to whether it’s longwearing, I am quite satisfied when I used this the other day under the scorching heat of the sun. It actually stayed on for about 6 hours despite heat and sweat.

Overall, for Php265.00, I think this gives a good bang for your buck. <3

I will like it if it stays on that long ’cause it lessens the number of times you have to retouch.
