Filipinos have long been drawn into whitening products. Blame it to our culture, beauty in our country have always been perceived as those with fair skin.
Being born with fair skin, I’d still buy whitening soaps and sometimes take supplements not to make my skin any whiter, but to make it even. With this, I’ve had my fair share of trials with all sorts of whitening products from other brands.
When Vida Nutriscience got in touch with me to try out their products, I was more than happy to oblige. ๐
Snow Whitening Soap has 7 plant extracts to help your skin become fairer: Mallow Extract, Peppermint Extract, Primula Veris Extract, Alchemilla Vulgaris Extract, Veronica Officinalis Extract, Melissa Officinalis Leaf Extract, and Achillea Millefolium Extract. These are combined with Papaya enzymes, Aloe Vera extract, Vitamins A, C, E and B3, and Salicylic Acid for optimum skin lightening results.
What I love most about Snow Whitening Soap is its neutral scent and color. I have been a user of Kojic soap when I was in college and I find it such a hassle for the soap to stain my soap case and bathroom wall. Since Snow Whitening Soap comes in a clear bar, this doesn’t leave any stains to your bathroom fixtures.
Like other whitening soaps in the same clear/translucent form, this soap bar melts quite quickly so make sure to store it in a dry place and not leave it by your shower soap dish. I carefully store mine in a separate soap case away from sources of water. When stored carefully, a bar can last maybe 2 – 3 weeks of daily face and body use.
My skin feels tight and smooth after the wash. The soap lathers quicky–which I love–and it rinses off as quickly as well. Snow Whitening Soap does not dry my skin. Although I do feel a slight tingling sensation when the lather is left for a couple of minutes. I take this as the salicylic acid working its way to my skin. I love that this soap doesn’t leave that glide-y coated feeling like other moisturizing soaps.
Snow Whitening Soap is available at your nearest Mercury Drug Stores for only Php145.00. Get to know more about Snow through Facebook, or Instagram. You may also visit http://www.vidanutriscience.com/
