Product Review: Tony Moly Egg Pore The War Toner

Nothing beats a great skin condition as your base for any makeup look. Instead of investing on makeup, I’d rather put my attention to a good skin regimen and great products to complement it with. I am always on a hunt for gentle facial products to go with my regimen and one of the basic steps in taking care of your face is to tone it after cleansing.

Tony Moly’s Egg Pore “The War” Toner is one of the most gentle toners I’ve ever laid my hands on. With patented ingredients such as Camellia Japonica Flower Extract, Astringentlex, and substances extracted from eggs, this wonder toner effectively regulates sebum, tightens pores, and makes your skin appear smoother and silkier.

Especially now that it’s summer–with my oil glands on hyper-active mode, I noticed that my face is clearer and fresher that normal. I guess The War Toner puts up a good fight in keeping my sebum in control. 😉

Egg Pore The War Toner may seem like a toughie but the formulation is as gentle as can be. It refreshes your skin and it doesn’t sting at all. This product works best for acne prone skin as it helps soothes down the redness and calms your skin effectively.

What I like most about the product is the way it is dispensed. You just have to get a cotton pad and gently push it down to the mouth of the toner. One or two pumps is enough to cover the entire face and neck.

The name is hilarious and ironic! I guess this is similar to the wonderpore toner from etude house.

I love Korean cosmetics. They name their products in such a cute-weird way 🙂
