It’s been a while since I had my waxing appointment and I thought what better way to try out Barenaked than when it’s on 20% off for its opening promo in Market Market.

Yup for those of you who are looking out for other waxing salons, you can check out Barenaked’s newest sugaring branch in Market Market.

Basically sugaring is synonymous to cold wax service wherein it uses a sugar/honey paste compound to remove even 1/16in length of hair. Barenaked Body Sugaring Salon is the first cold wax salon to use sugar versus Laybare who uses honey.

The waxing room is small, but enough to get things done. I wish the pillows will be replaced though as I find them uncomfy and too foamy (Yes, I have this thing for comfy pillows while I have my fuzzies yanked away).

Lanie, my therapist, was courteous and chatty. She would educate you about the benefits of sugaring over waxing. To me, however, it’s just a matter of preference. I like cold waxing since I’m pretty much scared of the thought having hot wax burning my skin.

If you’re new to waxing or would love to finally ditch shaving, Barenaked is worth a try. Check them out at in SM Fairview, SM Taytay, Katipunan, Eastwoon, Glorietta 5, Whiteplains, Timog, Subic, Marcos Hway, Antipolo, and now in Market Market.

    I’ve tried barenaked here in Antipolo and I really love their service. The place is not that spacious as well but the ambience is really relaxing. 🙂 Their services are affordable too! I also prefer cold waxing than hot.

    Worst Service. I tried this and the hair Technician is very disrespectful. She lets me wait for 10 minutes and didn’t ask me if everything is ok on my eyebrow and she wanted me to go out on the room even if I wanted her to remove hairs on my upperlip! (By the way she is the one on the picture above) . Parang nagalit pa siya na magpaparemove din ako ng hair sa upperlip at sobrang binigatan pa niya kamay niya! hanggang ngayon may mga redness pa din sa upper lip ko!!! Hanggang sa pagbayad ko ng service pinagmamadali ako! I will Never go back to this Waxing Salon! kaya pala wala masyadong Customer!. Think Twice kung Gusto niyo ng Maayos na Serbisyo. Nakakatrauma kayo!
