Unboxing & First Impression: Very YSL Pink Travel Palette

So my boyfriend came home last night from his day trip to Singapore–when I say day trip, it’s literally a fly-in in the morning and fly-out at night kind of trip–and got me this: a Very (pretty) YSL Pink Palette.

The Very YSL Pink Travel Palette has a sleek design and is just a little bigger than my iPhone. At first glance, it can come off as an iPhone case with its show-stopping fuchsia pink leatherette cover and gold YSL metal logo.

The Very YSL Travel Palette comes in two versions: Black and Pink. Thanks to my beau’s exquisite taste, he got me the Pink one since the colors are more dainty than the ones in Black. I’m also digging the slim and stylish form–which is great for traveling as it easily slips in your purse sans the bulk.

The palette uses magnetic lock. When opened, it has 4 shimmer eyeshadows, 2 lipsticks, and a blush. Color payoff is amazing and is easily buildable. The colors are very versatile–from a simple daytime look to a more dramatic smokey night-time look using the darker shadows.
