Who is Cressida ‘Cressy’ Bonas?

I hear another round of royal wedding bells ringing. I hear this time it’s no other than Prince Harry and Cressy. I was a fan of Prince Harry and Chelsy Davy–who broke up with Harry since “she didn’t want a royal life”… or maybe Harry is just too much to handle?

Anyway, where there’s smoke, there’s fire. The 29-year-old British royal Prince Harry has reportedly commenced “royal marriage protocols.” Although The Queen has not yet received any formal word about it, it is said that the entire royal family fully supports a union between Prince Harry and Cressida.

But who exactly is the aristocrat’s daughter, Cressy?

Cressida Bonas–pronounced as /Creh – Seed-Uh  Bone-Ass/–or Cressy, as she is known to close family and friends, was born on February 18, 1989, and a descendant of King Charles II.

Cressy attended the University of Leeds until 2011 and went on to study at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, which she left in July of this year. Prior to this, she studied at £30,000-a-year Stowe School in Buckinghamshire, coincidentally also where Chelsy Davy (former girlfriend of Prince Harry) studied.

A little bird told me that the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton is not really into Cressy for Harry as the latter is a half-sister to Prince William’s ex-crush, actress and model, Isabella Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe, who was in Simon Pegg flop movie How To Lose Friends & Alienate People.

Cressida, known as “Cress” or “Smalls” to her friends, has been dating Harry for over 21 months. She was first linked to Prince Harry after they were seen together after the premiere of the Dark Knight Rises in July 2012 and was believed to have been fixed up with Prince Harry by Princess Eugenie. She spent her 24th birthday with Prince Harry at a ski resort in Verbier, Switzerland.

According to Tatler, Cressy likes to drink rum, loves The West Wing and “smelly” candles, hates Dirty Dancing, and says “cringe de la cringe!” when she’s embarrassed. She’s already looking towards a career in acting and has made some appearances at small shows as a dancer.
