Greeka Kouzina: The Surefire Way To Fill Your Tummy

My guy and I sort of lost our way in QC the other night and missed a wedding reception. Since we were both super hungry from the traffic and we’re already in QC, I decided to check out this resto that my mom has been telling me about–Greeka Kouzina.

First off, I love that this place is very spacious and has a high ceiling. I hate eating in cramped up places. I enjoy having privacy and actually being secluded–haha! Oh, and they have ample parking so that’s a plus, too.

I wanted to try something new and I was so hungry so I was definitely in it for some rice instead of sticking with some gyros. We asked for their best-seller and ordered it right away–Greeka Kouzina’s Lamb Shoulder (Php580.00), which comes with free siding so I picked Spinach rice.

The lamb meat was perfect and it was tender. The meat itself tasted amazing and it doesn’t have any aftertaste that you sometimes get with some lamb meat. It came with a dip/sauce that perfectly complemented the spiced blend of the meat.

I find the Garlic Arugula Pasta (Php195.00) quite sad, though, as it looked kind of different from the menu. When I called this out to the server, on why it had a lot less arugula than what I see on the menu, she just said the arugula is already mixed in the pasta.

We all know that’s not true.

But anyway, I don’t really care about the pasta since the lamb and rice are filling enough. The lamb shoulder and spinach rice tasted so delicious that you won’t even bother of the pasta.

Yummy! Never tried lamb meat! Super gusto kong itry. Parang the serving can be shared by two. I thought that was pork ribs, t-bone or steak in your IG post. 😀 I’m living in Sta.Mesa for 3 years now pero hindi ako ng fofood hopping sa QC mas prefer ko sa kapitolyo pasig parang meron ding greeka kouzina dun. Hindi ko din kasi kabisado ang QC, pero I already tried Mandaring Sky chinese restaurant because of their best seller oysters, champagne spareribs and lettuce rolls. This is somewhere in banawe, galing pa kami ng hospital at inabutan lang ng gutom. 😀

Hey! I think there’s also one branch in Kapitolyo. Check their FB, I think they have branches all over Metro Manila. 😉

I’ve seen a branch na of that somewhere. What’s the main taste ba of Greek food? I haven’t tried any. 🙂 The lamb looks good. I never ordered lamb again because of the aftertaste nga. Now I’ll try it again. 🙂

i do agree with you ms jirbie.. but is it true po ba na medyo malansa sya? or is it because the way they cooked it?

I think it’s the way the meat has been prepared. I noticed with Greek restos their lamb meat doesnt have that aftertaste.
