Product Review: DermaSkin Master Hydrating Serum

Our skin loses moisture as we age. That’s why it’s important for us girls to make sure that we incorporate moisturizers, or even facial serums, to our daily/nightly routine. Since we live in a hot and humid country, it’s kind of hard to put on moisturizers during the day without risking our skin to breakouts. I find that layering facial serums and facial oils at night works best for me as I let all the beauty goodness sink in as I sleep.

Today I am sharing with you one of the many–and my current favorite!–facial serums I use at night:  DermaSkin Master Hydrating Serum.

I find it amazing that this bottle works better than most facial serums I know, and imagine how it does its job in hydrating my skin really well with just a short ingredients list?!

Basically the DSM Hydrating Serum is made from premium-grade hyaluronic acid, fortified with skin vitamins A, B, and D. If you’re not familiar with hyaluronic acid, this key ingredient has been the buzzword in the beauty world in the past 5 or so years for its amazing benefits on our skin. When applied topically, it provides a great moisturizing effect on the skin making it instantly softer and smoother.

What I love about this DSM Hydrating serum, aside from the fact that it instantly softens fine lines, is that it feels so light that I almost have an impression that this product was made specifically for girls here in the Philippines.

I love the mild scent of the product and it feels like a dream to apply. The product sinks in and gets absorbed by my skin fairly quickly. Although it’s a serum, the texture is light and watery–definitely not greasy–so you won’t have to worry about breakouts! So if you have oily to combination skin, this is a great serum for you to keep your skin’s hydration in place. If you have dry skin, you can layer this before using your daily sunscreen in the morning and apply again at night before sleeping.

DermaSkin Master is made in Canada and retails for only CAD21.00 (that’s about Php800.00) at 30ml per bottle, price is exclusive of shipping and handling. You may email for orders and inquiries.
