Sandaya Yakiniku Restaurant at Fishermall

I love Japanese food–be it sushi, sashimi, katsu, or yakiniku. This one’s a newly opened resto in Fishermall, Quezon City.

Of course, I ordered a plate of their US boneless shortribs (Php450.00). I loved the marinade of the meat and it tasted wonderingly sweet and tender. But at 100g of serving, I think it’s too little.

I also normally get a plate of California Maki as a staple order. The way a restaurant prepares and serves their California Maki is somehow my way to rate the Japanese restaurants.

Point being, at Php200.00, I liked that it had 8 pieces of maki but the quality is not that stellar. You can see that it had more cucumbers than mangoes and the crabsticks aren’t prepared equally. So, yes, I wish it has more mangoes than cucumber. And, of course, a little more fish roe would definitely be a plus.

The slices are thick! I find it good for filling for soft taco wraps! They’re unbelievably great! Another thing is those makis are way better if you deep fry them or coat them first with batter! I’ve tried it when I used to work in a hotel before. Give it a try sometime! hahaha… Happy SUnday! (^….^)

Malapit lang to sa office. 🙂 For the serving, I think the price is not that worthy. :/
