When we’re younger, we’d probably try whatever that’s trendy for beauty. But for girls hitting their big 3-0, this is the time to get serious on beauty routines that would let our skin thank us in the future.
No one should be scared of turning 30. I think it’s one of the best phases in life. Plus, girls in their 30s now have all these beauty technologies to help us look young as we age. So, in the spirit of looking young, let me share with you my first Stem Cell Facial w/ Diamond Peel experience.
I made my appointment with Dra. Julie prior to coming so I didn’t have to wait long for my turn. Since Stem Cell everything has been the fad for the beauty world and in most anti-aging products, I thought of trying the Stem Cell Facial from this quaint derma clinic along Banawe St., QC.
My facial started with the usual massage and exfoliating product to prep my skin for the diamond peel session. What I like about Dra. Julie’s diamond peel is that it covers even the area around your eyes.
Most facial centers are scared to touch the area around your eyes as it is the most delicate skin on your face. But, according to Dra. Julie, it is possible to treat the area around your eyes with diamond peel–given with the right tools and a certified professional doing it. Oh, and did I mention that Dra. Julie is the one personally doing all the treatments and not just some random trained therapists? She’s had her training in Hong Kong and Canada for these dermatological procedures.
So anyways…
After the diamond peel procedure, my face was applied with some cooling mask, including the eye area. For those having troubles with dark undereyes, this is the best facial treatment for you. Look at how the area around my eye looked 1-2 shades brighter after the diamond peel:
I was told that sometimes the discolorations are caused my skincare or cosmetic products that are not removed thoroughly from the skin. So these cosmetics create build up and discolor the area. That’s why it’s important to effectively get rid of the build up through diamond peel.
The steps following the peel incorporates the Stem Cell serum and the use of these devices to help the serum get absorbed by the skin efficiently. Dra. Julie shared with me that after the peel, our skin is sponge-hungry to absorb whatever product you put on it.
The Stem Cell Facial with Diamond Peel costs Php2,500.00 and lasts for 1.5-2 hrs. I think it’s worth you money since the effect is immediate–you see your undereye area is brighter even without brightening products applied on it. Plus, my skin felt firm and squeaky clean yet smooth and soft as a baby’s bum.
I guess the biggest compliment I’ve had is when a highschool suitor told me that I never seem to age–he told me that just last year! I guess taking care of your skin really pays off. 🙂
