It’s 10 days before Christmas and if you’re like me who loves all things cinnamon, here’s a my tried and tested recipe to make your own cinnamon sugar to add that festive vibe to your snacks and desserts.
Here are the things that you’ll need:
- 1 tbsp Cinnamon powder
- 1/4 cup White granulated sugar
Ideally you need a 1:4 ratio of cinnamon to your white sugar. Others prefer powdered sugar or confectionery sugar but I like mine granulated. If you like a less cinnamon-forward version, you can modify the ratio to 1:8 where you can double the amount of your sugar or cut your cinnamon powder in half. But for me, I like mine spicy and aromatic so I’m sticking to the traditional 1:4 ratio.
Mix everything in a bowl really well. You can use a small whisk to break down all the clumped up powders. If you don’t have a whisk, you can use a fork to make sure everything is blended well.
That’s it! I hope you try this recipe and let me know the many ways you’ve enjoyed it this season. 🙂
